Practices

During the winter months, Flyball practice is held every Thursday night from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Agriplex building at the Saanich Fairgrounds on Stellys' Crossroad, in Victoria.  From May to September, however, we practice from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., outdoors at Beaver Lake on the large grass field by the Pat Bay Highway.

Practices are open to visitors, however, if you bring your dog we ask that you keep it on leash at all times for the safety of both dogs and people.  Flyball dogs move FAST and are often so focussed that a collision might occur if an observer dog were to get caught up in the excitement and run across the flyball lanes during a race.

Dogs that are already trained in Flyball can be admitted to practices without taking the training course by first getting permission from the Coordinator.
